For the common courses in the programs of different faculties, colleges and vocational schools of our university, the 
Department of Common Courses was established within the body of the Rectorate, with the decision taken at the meeting of the
Higher Education Executive Board on 08.12.2021. Çankırı Karatekin University aims to operate in other fields of science that 
can be carried out interdisciplinary with this department. With the acceleration of inter-scientific studies, it is aimed to 
expand the vision of the students and to gain different and multiple perspectives in the field that the university focuses on. 
With the establishment of the Department of Common Courses, in addition to the common compulsory / elective courses such as 
Career Planning, Occupational Health and Safety, Volunteering Studies, many joint elective courses opened in any field that 
our students are curious about, interested in or wantto improve themselves, regardless of the education of the department / 
program they are studying. they can choose courses.
